I was so honored to present this poem at the best church this side of heaven, thats Love Church if you didnt know already!! My goal was to write a piece that embodies the varies stages of a child’s walk with their mother….from the start of the child’s life to the ending of hers… I did my best to capture the parts of life when you think your mom is the best thing ever… to the parts when you battle her and pain her…the parts when disease finds her…to the moment death comes for her… This is A Poem for Mom by Jeremy C.
