If the World Were Without Color
Inspired by a heartfelt note written by my youngest son,
If the World Were Without Color celebrates the many colors of God’s creation, colors we often overlook or take for granted.
What began as a simple, honest reflection from a child became something much greater. Ian’s words offered a perspective that was both innocent and profound, reminding us of the beauty, purpose, and intention behind every shade we see.
Ian’s powerful message simply read:
“Thank God for making people with colors… because without colors the world would be blank, like paper.”
This book expands upon his observation through poetic language and vivid illustrations that honor the beauty and vibrancy of the world around us, including the rich diversity reflected in our own skin tones.
To further engage young readers, the book also features a special coloring book section in the back, inviting children to interact with the story in a creative and personal way as they explore and celebrate color for themselves.
